I believe everyone can enjoy making music. I'm an experienced, well qualified, and most of all friendly, teacher of voice and piano and I coach students of all ages and abilities at my teaching practice in Whissendine. I do also travel out to students. So, if you have your own piano (singing lessons too) then I can come to you at no extra charge. Coaching for GCSE and A Level Music also available. Theory tuition is available but is usually added as extra time to standard coaching sessions. This is because, as a qualified teacher, it requires its own schedule to do a good job and it not being just a “let's just squeeze it in”.

I am a Musicians’ Union Member and CRB checked. I have also been an examiner for the Edexcel GCE A level performance examinations for the past 4 seasons.

Areas - Oakham, Melton Mowbray, Stamford, Uppingham, Bourne and all surrounding villages.

Rates:	£25 per hour for beginners up to grade 8,
	£30 per hour for those studying for diplomas.

I would recommend beginners to grade 1 to have 20 minute lessons (£8.30), those from grade 2-4 to have 30 minute lessons (£12.50), grade 5-6 to have 45 minute lessons (£18.75) and 1 hour for those from grade 7-8 and diploma. However, these are only guidelines and I am more than happy to discuss any specific arrangements you may have.

My pass rate is 100% with over 66% of my students achieving a Merit or above in Associated Board Grade examinations.
